Water inside car still!

hey all,

ive been pushing on with my car re-vamp

ive replaced the sunroof and solved the issue where it wouldnt close, but i found that on the front o/s drain pipe didnt seem to drain the water away it was comming over the top and dripping down. i pulled the tube off and it emptyed a pint of water into the car. i pulled the tube out to check that it wasnt blocked.

i am now unable to feed the tube back down, had anyone else had a problem with the draining? or not being able to feed a tube back down? cud i cut it short and solve the issue?

Is the tube blocked that goes out from under the scuttle towards your steering rack? Looks like an elephants trunk

hello, No thats fine!

im haveing water drip down from the sunroof on the o/s so i simply removed the pipe and a whole pints worth of water dripped out of the drain tube on the sunroof. I removed the pipe to blow down it, and now i am stuck!

i have the tube in my hand and cant feed it back down, i just seem to create more work for my self

Try to wrap some masking tape at the tip of the tube so that it is tapered and could enter or find its way around more easily, if the pointed taper at the end of the tube does not still feed itself through, then may be worth trying a small round ball at the tip and then it may feed through, but a flat cut at the end of the tube is almost certainly going to get stuck somewhere along. also twist and turn as the tube may have to pass through sections with just a tiny hole and therefore it must approach these sections dead on, which wouod be an immensely difficulot task, but if you wigle the tube, at some point it may just strike lucky and pass through the hole. if not you may have to strip the car interior and feed it visually. (Based on imagination and not on actual experience )
