Both op-com and opel-scanner will do the job. You can either buy clones from eBay (much cheaper) or buy the genuine items (although much more expensive). Ideally you want WinXP laptop. op-com doesn't (or rather its very difficult) to get it working on Win7. opel-scanner will install/work on anything from WinME to Win7. However if you just want to read ECU fault codes then there are cheaper alternatives from Halfords.

Have you tried the pedal test? Although I'm sure the paperclip test should work on that car.
They're there, in their room.
pedal test dont work on the corsa will work on me zaf altho it flashes 5 times then stops then another 5 an so on, so no idea what that means..
found this on ebay (dont no if can post links )OP-COM VAUXHALL OPEL V CAN BUS OBD2 DIAGNOSTIC OPCOM FAULT CODE READER SCANNER | eBay
will this 1 work ??
couldnt get myn to work on windows 7 tried everything, it worked three times and then locked itself
Yep, that's a op-com clone. It should work but there are so many clones from Japan/China being imported in and sold in the UK. Its pot luck if it will work, but for £20 you could try. If you only have Win7 then you can use virtual WinXP in Win7 (this is what I use - works just like WinXP and my op-com works just fine with it inc the USB drivers).
