I have some calibra arms that have been converted to run rose joints insted of the usual rubber bushes, when i got this setup it only came with one rose joint
all the joints on the front and the two inner ones on the rear are the same size, the one rose joint i have, have a quick measure and beleive them to be a standard m18 so thats not a problem,
the rear inners are the standard m18
the outers are alot bigger, a quick measure looks to me 30mm x 1.5mm thread.
now pretty sure these are supposed to have an insert, then the rose joint screws into that, bit of left hand right hand thread trickery this would alow the tow to be adjusted trackside without needing to drop the arms.
something this kind of shape
anyone with better knowlage than me think this is the case for the m30 outer joints?
and where could i get such a joint/fitting? M30 fine outer thread and m18 inner?, work out which way the left and right threads go? and how it would be in such a way you can adjust it?
......now whilst writing this another theory occured, what if it needed something like the arrangenment of a astra/cav/calibra steering/track rod end? a double ended bolt, left and right thread, then use a female rose joint
but why them make the hole in the rear arm m30 (so big)?
out side look/track slag experience/anyone with an idea needed
