Unhappy Corsa C Boot Lock Problem

    Hi

This week I bought a 2002 Corsa 1.2 SXI from an auction.

Unfortunately the boot will not open. The key will not move in the lock, and stays in the vertical position.

The only way to open the boot has been from removing the boot panel and pulling the rod to release the latch.

Will I need to replace the locks ??

Any help and advise would be greatfully received.

    Many Thanks

Have you got the car pass that should of come with the car?. This will have the key no. so you can get another lock made. If not, the car is programmed with the key no in the BCM, so your dealer could get this and order you a new lock.

    Sounds expensive !

I was wondering whether the lock had been changed in the past and it had its own key which wasn't passed to me.
