    Rolleyes Corsa b electrical problems!

    i,m having a bit of bother with my corsa.it has been of the road for a wee while and have not pestered with it for a while but i went out to it yesterday and tried to start it but battery was dead...anyway to the point i charged the battery and as soon as i connect battery up my clocks light up as if i have put my side lights on?? very strange

    And if i try and put main beam on the headlights dont come on and the switch to turn on main beam is smoking from behind as if it's shorting out!??

    dont know why its doing it,could do with a bit of help

    Disconnect the switch and try again.

    Still having problems with this Althought not as bad as last time,I was at the car today and managed to get all the lights working,apart from the fact that when I connect battery the clocks I'n the dash light up as if I have put side lights on but I haven't? This is very puzzling and not sure what to do??

    remove the battery and check all the wirring behind the fuse box,radio ect...
    have you had anythink electrical installed into the car recently.
