2001 vectra sri estate Heating problems

Hi all,

For some time my heating in the car has not worked right. It gets a little warm but thats it.

I cant seem to get any hot air into the car. The fams blow hard, but still no HOT air.

I am not sure what im looking for. I was told there is a flap under the clutch, after taking the carpet up there was nothing there. The car does run a little hot and the fan is on sometimes, could this be a fault? It has never overheated. Its a 2.6 V6 engine.

Any help or hits on what to look for and where to look for it are needed as its now bloody cold out.

Could be a air lock take the lid of the expansion bottle put heater on hot and hold revs up till heater starts getting warm check coolant level then re fit cap leave it running and see if heater gets warmer
