Corsa B - installing gte digi dash! help!

Im about to buy a digi dash for my CORSA b, I am told i need to do some work to make it fit but that's okay i like a bit of fun, as ive done lots of crazy modifications myself inside the only bit that scared me is changing the transducer, I hear I need to get into my gear box how easily is this done ? could anybody explain how to change it ?

If its a boggo Corsa it will just screw onto the top of the gearbox in place of the speedo cable. 10 minute job if that

Thats a bit of a worrying comment - lift the bonnet, look at the engine and its on the right hand side towards the bottom - you can't miss it - its what the two front wheels are connected to with long metal poles.

the tranducer is held in by one 10mm bolt and its towards the back of the gear box near the gear selector bit. you might want to remove your bettery and tray to get to it and put your car in reverse as this will give you abit more room.

i will also say that my corsa has an new type electronic transducers and it works perfectly with my digi dash. so if yours is electronic dont change it to the older type.
