    Mk3 Astra/Cav etc indicator wiring

A bit stumped on wiring an indicator stalk in again (wiring was cut).

There are a number of black/white wires, and black/green. About 4 b/w and 2 b/g. Not sure where everything goes, one goes to the hazard light switch, one to the instrument dials. Anyone got a diagram or something? I've been in it for four hours.
One dog goes one way and the other goes the other.
And this guy's saying, "Whaddya want from me?"

what I would do is bare all the wires slightly

connect the two black/greens together. They need to be in any case.

Look at the black/whites and see if there are any paint dots or ident marks. If they do this is the middle pin on the stalk connector.

If they don't, turn the ignition on and touch each black/white to the black/greens in turn. Listen to hear the flasher relay start clicking (right indicators will flash too) when you do, this is the middle wire on the stalk connector.

The remaining two black/whites are connected together to an outside pin on the stalk connector.

Test to see if everything works correctly lol, including the dash light.
