hey msg there aint any for it so the guy with the fancy laptop
all wires are in the plug but he recons there aint an in line fuse for it?
Check the wiring diagram in the haynes.
eg, the one for the Vectra (only haynes I have near me at the mo) says F22 (20a) goes to pin 16 of the diag socket.
thanks dav will give it a go is the wire diagram showing in line fuse then
The one I have does, and it'd be unusual for a live feed not to pass through a fuse first.
many thanks bud thats wot i thought was weird but he had the laptop will check it the more just out of noseyness if the in line has blown would it stop the car from starting ?
Depends if that fuse feeds anything else.
Sorry, Not sure what your diagnostic plug looks like, I can only check against a Calibra X20XEV plug. even this is all over the place in Haynes manual shown as X13 being the connector and which pin is which is hard to tell at a glance.
I would think if your car is not starting then there could be a bad earth or some other electrical continuity problem including the ignition switch.
are your dash lights on?, does it crank? and so on.

msg its the same as last week got ignition lights BUT no ecu light. cranks no bother but no fuel pump spark etc .. the plug is the 16 pin one
Its still not bstarting then? I will need to go back to that thread and check out so far what has been tested and done and see if there is anything else that I can suggest a bit later on then.
