hi there. i took my car in for MOT yesterday and it failed on the suspenion springs being loose when car jacked up. now i aint no MOT tester but i thought it was a pass and advise?
could anyone shed any more light on the situation? or any ways round it?
(its lowered 60mm with with billy springs and shocks)
ta mate. i have been told if i cable tie them to shocks its a pass. like i say its only when its jacked up. and the suspenion has been bought as a kit no cuting of springs or owt like that. also the testers braking a mk3. all abit sus if you ask me
sounds abit suspicious, probably the best thing to do is get it looked at by a different mot tester at a different garage see what they say about it. a decent garage will have a quick look and tell you of any problems and the best cure free of charge
