Astra brakes (problems) help

can any one help?
im wanting to fit bigger brakes to my car as the old one,s keep sticking on .
so does any one know what brakes i can fit
my cars a astra g 1.6 16v 4 stud and im wanting to keep it as a 4 stud as iv got 18" wheels that i want to keep on the car?

i was thinking about buyin astra gsi calipers then searchin for 4 stud discs with the same diameter (308mm by 25mm i think?) but i dont know if i,ll find any 4 stud disc,s that big?

if anyone has any ideas PLEASE let me know

Your best bet is to get a Vectra 288mm set up and get the discs drilled to fit your 4 stud. do a search on here, this conversion has been done 3,066,987 times.

buy a set of fiat coup turbo 284mm 4 stud discs they fit strait on with calibra calipers ive got them on my gsi mark 3 astra whit a c20let

ive fit them to 7 red top corsas and to c20let astras and they stop mint

iv decided to go down the 288m vectra set up route
iv managed to buy some 288mm drilled and grooved disc off ebay for under £80 i
also bought the Alloy spiggot rings so the discs go on the hubs straight which cost me £12 lol bargin
then iv got calipers off a 2.5 v6 at the scrap yard for £35!
i just need to get the pads and the disc,s drilled to four stud now
but all in all i think got a good cheap brake set up

what year is your Astra? Astra G?

Astra G caliper spacing is different from earlier Vauxhalls. Parts are not interchangable.

its a astra g on a 1999 but the calipers iv got have came off a car thats newer than mine! a 2001 vec sri?
