Hi all a friend of mine has a astravan and he wants it lowered quite a lot but dosent want to pay 100+ for springs that will only go 40mm nor does he want to go down the coilover route is there a cheaper way to slam them iv heard something about corsa rear springs thanks in advance Lloyd.

hello mate , a mate of mine dropped his mk4 astra van and it cost about 30 squids ! the front springs from a cav / calibra 2.0/16 v fit perfectly you can find people on here or ebay selling front springs for about twenty squids a pair but be warned 50mm cav 16v springs dropped the van by 80mm! as for the rear some cavaliers ( especialy poverty spec ones) can have suitable rear springs to slam and take some weight

i agree , front lowering springs from a cav or astra and standard rear springs from a hatch with the pigtails opened up
