| lambra sensor wiring??? **this is urgent** rite to keep it as simple as possible.
origionally i had a corsa 1.2 16v sxi on a 1999 ecotec and i took that out and put a c20xe engine in out of a 1992 calibra 16v.
basically my problem is, the lambra sensor from the manifold has a male end 3pin adapter, but i cant find what it plugs into, at the minute it is been run without it been connected which is making it over fuel and is down on power.
my question is the 3 wires leading from the sensor (2 black 1 white, or 2 white 1 black, i cant remember) what do they wire into on the loom so it gets rid of the engine management light and stops it over fueling, can this be done, or is there any way of setting the engine up to run without the sensor???
any help will be very much appriciated, cheers steve |

| Re: lambra sensor wiring??? **this is urgent** It goes just where the loom enters the car on the drivers side.

| Re: lambra sensor wiring??? **this is urgent** not all looms have the plug for the lambda, mine hasnt, but it does have another plug in the same place for something else (engine management diag plug i think) just make sure that its the right plug before you cut it up and join it. |

| Re: lambra sensor wiring??? **this is urgent** there will be 2 plugs coming out of the loom in similar positions near the bulkhead rubber bung of the loom. on will be in the form of a diagnostics plug (10pin connector) and there should be a 3 pin plug (for the lambda) the purple wire on the loom goes to the black wire on lambda (signal) and the 2 white wires are the heater for the lambda.
you may have a early astra gte loom (20xE) which had no lambda if so you can brigde one terminal on the ecu to earth which turns the ecu into a non lambda type (cant remember which pin)
but check the loom thoroughly for the lambda connector it will be there (unless its the 20xe loom) the connector could have been chopped off accidentally leaving the 3 wires there somewhere.. |
