| Re: Fitting angel eyes mk3 astra Buzball.... its Andy, the chap you did the swap with. These were wired in as side lights when I had them. They power two things, the angel rings and the little LED's in the light.
The Yellow and black wire is for the sides, and I had used snap-lock connectors on these to connect them up. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=43076 ---> Snap-lock connectors!
Use a multimeter and work out which wire is live and which is ground. Then put all three red wires in a snap-lock and join it to the live feed for the side light and use another for all 3 black (ground) wires and connect this to the ground of the side light wire.
If I was to guess, i would say the yellow wire is the live and the black is the ground, and if I remember right from fitting some to a mates 206, we did one the wrong way round and it didn't damage (blow) them, and we just switched it around and it worked.. But I would definatly use a multimeter to be safe! When I got the motor last year they were already fitted so I cant be sure if it will damage the lights. |

If you put the red to the (+) on the battery and the black to the (-) on the battery, something will light up and it will not damage anything! and the black and yellow wire is definatley the side lights which is what I would wire them up to! |

| Re: Fitting angel eyes mk3 astra is that another dig at people helping you buzball? i hope not mate?
As to people going we have more people joining at the moment, don't comment on facts that you don't know mate.
P.s. you never answered my question, are they a known make and have you looked at the web site?
You might help other people on here buy putting up as much info as possible (it might help others out who are stuck) and then we can come back with hopefully 100% correct answers. |
