I've melted/ripped up most of the underfloor tar matting. It's left a lot of crud on the metal though. What's the best way of removing this? I tried a wire wheel yesterday, and whilst it sort of worked, it also seemed to "polish" the rubber remnants.
Is there any solvent that might help it come off? Or do I need more heat? (......blowtorch, yeah).
i did my nova floor in under 2 hours....... 500w flood lamp to heat it up patch by patch then lifted each patch while still hot with a blunt chizel wipe floor with thiners afterwards..... mint job with no floor damage
