| Eletric window problems i have a mk3 gsi 2000 the back drivers side door the window has come down but won't close i have changed the switches , i have changed the motor , check the fuses and even put a live striaght to it just to try and close it but still won't close does anybody have any other ideas what it might be?

| Re: Eletric window problems if you have put a feed directly across the motor and it doesn't spin, then there may be two things, one, the motor is burnt out, two the mechanism is jamming.
If you have a multimeter, can you not put across the motor to see when someone presses the window switch one way or the other that there should be some reading across the motopr terminals.
