| Re: Solid mounts on road car I had solid mounts on my Astra for a few years.
It makes the car rather, er, noisy. Loads of vibration. Excellent, and really improves handling, braking and acceleration.

| Re: Solid mounts on road car Yep the vibration is bearable!!
Makes the handling better and removes that spongey feeling when going round a corner
they do bang and rattle a bit more but doesnt bother me at all
Car is a corsa with avo coilovers, 300lb front springs |

| Re: Solid mounts on road car Depends on the mounts, but the first time I started my car up with solid mounts it was "****! There's no way I can live with that."
Within about 5 minutes of driving it I decided it was worth it and quickly got used to it. Loads of fun. |

| Re: Solid mounts on road car yeah solid mounts is no good when taking the mrs places
everything vibrates and rattles, specially when sitting at a set of lights haha
but the upsides are fantastic, zero engine movement is fantastic, especially getting back on the go fast pedal
