Hi. I'm building a Corsa B rally car witha C20XE. I'm fancying putting the fuel tank inside, (where the rear seat would go) I kno that internal tanks need to be firewalled, so i plan to make a box to fit over teh tank and bolt to the floor, but does anyone have any suggestions what i should do with the filler?

Just buy a fuel cell, not sure if your home made effort would pass any official scrutinising

i've already removed the wheel well! YOu wouldnt believe how much it weighs!!
You won't want to shift all that weight further up. It's better to keep it further down.
You can firewall a tank okay. Generally, you'd put a splash bowl on the top of the tank and fill it up in the car. Prepare for stinking of fuel inside the cabin!
Basically, I wouldn't bother doing anything. Your best bet is to make sure it's protected underneath the car. Make a fibreglass or aluminium guard for it.

my tank is inside and i used flexi exh tubing for my filler neck.. works fine and has passed logbooking and scruteneering fine
