urgent help needed with transponder key

i have a mk4 astra and the blade on my only key ant far off snaping and i need to know how to sort it i can get a blank bladded key off the net and gettin it cut ant a prob what do i do about the remote locking and do i use the black chip out my old key in the new one

the black transponder chip has to be inserted into your new key fob, as for the remote locking wireless transmitter, this you will have to accomodate into your new keyfob if you get the same type as your original, presuamably the one you are getting from ebay is the original type, if not you may have to get one from a dealer, if that ain't possible then you will have to carry the old fob just for remote locking and the new one with the transponder chip seperately on the same key bunch.
