    Corsa Anti-Roll Bars

Can anyone tell me what thickness the front and rear anti-roll bars are on a GSi please??
I was thinking of getting some whiteline ARB's 24mm front and the 22mm rear, but heard GSi front ARB is 24mm anyone so would it be pointless buying the whiteline arb's??
Car is currently a 1.4 flair with C20LET in it so either way ill be upgrading ARB's just wondering if whitelines are worth it or just get the GSi ARB's.

    Cheers folks

get a heavy dudy rear and get rid of the front one if you have decent front shocks!

Spax rsx coilovers at the mo with uprated poundage front springs to cope with engine but will be getting some of the AVO's that chris ashtley supply at somepoint when ive sorted few other niggles out on the car. Car wont be used for track though, just want to improve overall handling as been used to owning a saxo for previous year and half and used to love throwing it round the bends, obvious corsa wouldn't match handling in that respect due to heavier engine etc but just want some improvement

give it a go with just a heavy dudty rear you should have better grip and less understeer out of the corners if you get on the power early.

another think to do is to weld plates on the torsion part of the rear beam, for some inside rear wheel lift action.

if you look under your rear beam the bar that runs between the wheels is the torsion part allowing the wheels to move independantly of each other... if you weld plates under the bar it will remove some of the flex.. I cant find a pic to show you

I think combo vans had the thickest, so maybe they fitted them on the letter sports

yeah but only buy an uprated one for the rear.. if you can try it without the front one and it should be better.

    Like it's a hire car
combo vans are 23mm front, the whiteline front isnt worth it IMO.

the whiteline rear is well worth it tho as it reaches out onto the trailing arms.

Running no front arb is a matter of taste, setup and use, in tight bends it tends to lift the inside wheel and promote understeer, in longer sweeping high speed bends, you really struggle without it.

Spax coilovers are cheap, personally I wouldnt run them, the damping rates are all wrong and the spring in general too hard IMO. Im yet to find better than billies.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

    Original Corsa:
    Front: 18 or 22mm
    Rear: 14 or 18mm

    Cheap upgrade:
Front arb from an early Corsa GSI or Combo, these are 24mm thick
    Rear arb from a GSI/1.6 if you've got a 14mm now

    More expensive upgrades:
    Whiteline arbs. 27&22mm
    H&R arbs. 26&22mm

    Re: Corsa Anti-Roll Bars

I 've got a 24mm think front (from a combo) and a 18mm rear standard one (from a corsa C) which is better than no arb!!
