mk3 cav suspenshion swap

my friends trusty sri had a pre mot today and needs 2 new front springs

will the front legs from the 2L auto mk3 cav fit on to her sri (also mk3)
the sri is a ecotec m reg and the auto cav is a h reg 2L 8valve

i was just going to unbolt the hole leg leaving the hubs and drive shaft still atached and swap them over but thought i would ask you guys 1st just in case the sri ended up looking like a monster truck at the front or some thing being difrent so they dont fit

the springs will b different as the sri is a little lower but prob not noticable. also the h reg autos didnt have abs so the legs will need the threads re tapping for this. also the shafts i think may b different coz of the abs rings.

oooooooooooh she might just have to buy some new springs then lol loit of work just to save £30 odd
i haven't really looked i was thinking the legs were like nova ones were you can leave the hubs ect oon the car and just change the leg and spring over thanks for ino marky i can now tell my friend to get some springs and crack on and scrap my auto one
