megasquirt ECU

does anyone no the resistances of the coolant temp sensor off a x16xe

need them at 0 degress 50 degress and 100 degress or near as

need them to in put on the megasquirt ECU

Not got a clue for the x16xe but if it helps I've measured the values from a GTE sender for the clocks.

New CTS, saucepan & thermometer spring to mind......

Thats how I did mine.

I used cooking oil though as that won't top out at 100C and doesnt bugger about with the resistance readings.

I nuked it in the microwave in a pyrex dish until it hit around 140C then let it cool down slowly (and boy was it slowly) stirring it all the time so there were no hot or cold spots. As the thermometer registered the appropriate value I logged the resistance.

When it hit room temperature I bunged it in the freezer and continued to take readings while still stirring it every now and again.

got a new one, just woundered if any one had the readings?

and for the air temp sensor too

only problem is i haven't got a thermometer!

Pop in to Maplins and grab a digital one.

You'll get a half decent one for £10-20
