    Vauxhall Senator traction control fitting?

    I'm looking at a Vauxhall Senator 2.6 v6 as a project... It's VERY individual...

I just wondered if you can fit TC to it? It has ABS and is a K reg...

It's the top of the range model (Air con, electric windows, digi dash, fuel comp, heated seats...) and it's an auto... So it has snow mode and sport...

Can I just ask... what is the deal with you and traction control? Are you allergic to buying tyres or something?
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.

Haha... No... But I get so annoyed when I get stuck in the mud, the back end slips out or I sit at the lights after they turn green because the ground is wet... I missed it in my Omega when the system was down, so much so that I got rid of it.

I aint tight or nothing... !!!

Did carltons have TC? or maybe an early omega. Could you swap the system from one of them onto the senator?

It wouldn't work I don't think unless you could switch the ABS Ecu over. There is no blanking plate for the button on a TC switch... And I've never seen a Carlton/Senator with TC. The Omega would not be a good idea, as no Omega had a 2.6 V6. Andd the ABS system would be different

Guess the answer is no then as NO Senator in any country had TC.

So I have just been informed.

You can get retro fit systems IIRC, not cheap tho I think.

Just weld the diff. more traction then!

Dunno how you missed the Omega TC... I always switched mine off as it was a liability! Maybe they tweaked it on the later models. And Omegas do have a 2.6 V6, and your senator is a straight 6

The later facelift Omega had a 2.6.. But the early ones didn't. Mine was an M reg 3.0v6 Elite... And the ABS/Traction Controol was amazing!

The only system that made a difference
