help with the wiring on a nova gte

[16v allday]

hi all im building a nova gte back up from the ground but what i dont get is on the loom in the engine bay (not the one from the afm to the ecu) but the one that it attaches to has a red wire which is pretty thick coming out with a circle conecter on the end, Also could you tell me what colour wires go on to the coil pack and what other wire on the starter motor as i have the main live but the other one i have is red and black is this right?


p.s sorry if it dont make sense its just im urgent to find out what it is thanks

right if i remember correctly, big red from battery goes to the starter motor first then loops off to the alternator, the starter motor will need its feed which should be a black wire with red stripe. then i think its blue/white to the small terminal on the alternator, and blue/green to the oil pressure switch. cant remember about the coil pack
