    Current C20xe problem

Was wondering if anyone has had a simular problem and they could point me in the right direction, i have the C20xe fitted to my corsa and sometimes it cuts out for no reason, and sometimes whem left overnight it also dose not start.

At first when i got the car i had thot that the coil was at fault, so got a new one and still the same, tryed the coil on my friends car and its start no problem so i was able to rule that out, i end up phoneing some mobile out electrian who was about 90 and looked as if he was on his last legs, he took some kind of tester thing (like a pen with a wire on the end of it) and put on end with the crock clips onto the block and then put the probe end onto the one of the terminals of the coil and it fired up first time.

With him doing that i had thot that all my problems had gone, but no luck, sometimes the car runs fine for days, when it cuts out i just do the same as wot the auto electrian did with the probe and usualy it starts no problem, but today it cut out on some crap backroad and it took maybe 10 mins to start, then ran for 5 mins then cut out again

Its starting to really piss me off and also if im driving in a bad scheme or something and it cuts out in front of a group of ned (chavs), or at a bad junction or something then its puts you in a bad spot, next time it happens ill take a vid of it and put it up on youtube to see if it could help anyone dianose the problem, its the dizzy type engine and i havnt did the paper clip test yet

    any help would be good

Buy some wires like that one for audio amplifiers (8mm2 or so). Then wire ground of accu to every metal part of motor. Like inlet, head, exhaust, coil, alternator, starter, ECU, etc... This way you will solve the problem of pour ground on old wireing....
