What is faster? Astra GTE 16V or Peugeot 306 S16?

Hello friends..
My brother have a Peugeot 306 S16, and we would like what is more faster, the Peugeot 306 S16 with 155hp, or Astra GTE 2.0 16V with 150hp? What is better in 0-60 miles and top speed?

But I want to know which faster between Peugeot 405 Mi16 and Calibra C20XE

I would think it would be pretty closely matched but I beleive the astra would pip it on power to weight.

if its non cat the GTE would have 156bhp..

the GTE would be quicker due to power to weight

Well, when I had my ZX 16v (same engine) I had a few races with Vaux's. Must say, it was slightly than a GSi (MK3) but a GTE 16v is pretty light and used to be ever so slightly quicker at certain parts of the rev range. Mine could out handle one though.

But what is the true time of 0-60 and top speed of Astra GTE? The information of Vauxhall is much "good" for consider..I would like know the true..
Here in my documents(magazines, Vauxhall marketing) tell about 7.9 to 8.1s, what is the true?
If the Astra GTE 2.0 16V have 156hp and 1.060kg, and Peugeot 306 S16 155hp and 1.170kg, i think the Astra certain win.. But the transmission, and other things need consider..

Mi16 160 bhp , C20XE 150 bhp.

Well, need see the wheight of Peugeot 405, i think is more heavy of the Calibra.
But is good race! Calibra is better is top speed, the 0,26 of CX, the air see the Calibra front like a knife! hehehe

Vauxhall engines are much more torquey then Pegeout engines, and should eat any Pegeout. Also Mi16 you can forget is only 1.9Liter on a very non aerodynamic body.
