didn't know Roald Dahl was into cars.. ?
do you mean the flexi pipes from caliper to hard line ? - get yourself a little racheting tool which wraps around the tube nut hex and auto-tightens like a pipe wrench - they're invaluable when doing brakes.
as for one man bleeds, I done a few of them, if you're talking about the brake sort and not the painful ones, then I also let gravity do the work, takes times, but you can sit and watch for the point at which you can tighten down the nipple much easier, and no risk of turning your master cylinder seals inside out either.
lol, i thougt it was BF goodrich? maybe thats the tyres!!lmao
goodrich hoses..hmm, what i though seemed easy enough you have made sound complex!!![]()
so how do i avoid turning the master cylinder seals inside out? never heard of that before......
where do i get this tool from?? halfords?

nick into halfords and they should have a brake bleeding kit. With it you get a small container and a pipe with a one way valve. The idea being that the brake fluid can pass throught the system into the container till all the air is out, and no air can get back in, you have to sit and pump the break pedal for a bit but belive me you dont want any air in the system.
sykes-pikivant is the make i use, dont know how much they cost but are a valuable purchase if your doing the job yourself
charlie dont surf..
what about the easi bleed kit with connects to your tyre??

I can get 25% discount for MIG members from these guys.
And the quality is as good if not better than Goodrich.
I used to work in a shop where we made Goodrich hoses up. And we switched to Hose Equip Ltd. Better stuff.
And if you go to the Goodrich warehouse, On Exeter Airport business park, they send you to the shop where I used to work.
PM me if you want me to sort anything.
I have become comfortably numb....
MC seals can be damaged if you're too rough when pumping the pedal with no pressure - so gently gently, and don't use full travel.
brakes tube nuts may as well be made out of playdoh for the ease with which they round off - a decent tool makes all the difference - Machine Mart do a rather nifty little device I described for about a tenner - makes it a breeze - the thing is with brakes is because you're inevitably working in a tight and restricted space, the tools invariably need to be small, and leverage and grip is hence difficult.
