make sure it is that first, it should come off the front of the sump if it is !
if it does .... no u dont! just cut it off

cheers mate just had a look it does come off the front of the sump.thanks of the fast reply.
yeah its the oil level sensor,
just tuck it behind the dippy tube and leave it alone.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
