Need some help here guys, when accelerating my car is missing or it is like a miss for about 3seconds then it clears and thrusts forward, this only happens sometimes not all the time, in all gears, replaced every- thing bloody peeved about it now, has anyone got any ideas............ My car is on left so i dont have to go into the spec, oh and it also happens whether i am running .7bar or 1.5bar or anywhere in between.........

i still reckon its an ignition problem. if it splutters then thats the spark being blown out or arcing or summat (although being blown out may not be right cos you say it does it low boost too)
what ecu you running? although if its a mapping issue it would do it most of the time...
maybe its a fuel pump gonna give up issue?
    just chucking ideas out

have ya checked your plugs are all evenly coloured & not busted?

When cold my NA Astra GSI sometimes gives a loss of power for a second or two, then kicks in as normal. It did only do it from cold though.

I'm just in the process of changing the lot over. I've done the plugs, leads, cap and am doing rotor arm tonight.

But as previously suggested if this doesn't work, I don't know.

I take it your battery's ok?!?

check the intercooler, a mate with a cav turbo once had a miss ing problem, turned out to be a hole in the intercooler

he changed all the ignition and stuff to find the hole

Does the turbo spool up as it should?
If itīs tired it will boost slower, and also have an intermittant "quality" to it pretty much as you describe your problem.
    cheers,
