Wheel/Tyre Size Wide track Nova

Once the engine is back in one piece, the next thing on the cards for my red nova is to very possibly go wide track, and also go with an Independant rear suspension set up based on what they do with the grass cars (supported off the back of the floor pan area)

Now, i understand that the wide track would bring the nova to mk2/3 astra width?

What sort of size wheel and tyre would be recommended for track use?

you;'ll be looking at 7 to 7.5J width & the offset isnt so important so you can use VW fitment wheels.

Some nice Compomotives would do the trick I reckon. 8x15" rears.
