Gap in top strut mount on Cally?

I have a massive gap(5mm) between chassis mount and suspension rubber mount?

The passager side has a little 1-2mm gap but the drivers side is more then double the gap.

    What is normal?

    thanks

Dude what is the reason behind this and whom told you its fine?

Well I have two different shock rod nuts one is long (drivers side) and the other is slighter shorter (passsager side), how is yours?

    thanks again

I know dude but why is the drivers side higher then passager, hence the two different nut?

its normal, they both should be the same on each side, thinner nut goes on the top.

    O dear...

I have two thinner nut holding the rubber strut mount but I have two different nut that's beneath rubber mount!

What type of nut should it be?

nothing specail, not nylocks are anything, just normal nuts, just a thicker nut goes under the top disc and a thinner one goes ontop, the thicker one underneath gives the clearence needed to pivot freely,

I thought so, at the moment I have one 24mm nylock on the drivers strut and a normal 24mm on passager
