Mate giving me these for free, are the worth it.

Well a mate owes me a favour and was buying some stuff for argos, when they were deleivered they had given him 2 extra items and not charged him. Since hs dishonest he didnt tell them and no one has followed him up. He has ffered me the two things (I know they are stolen but, oh well), Juat wondered if you lot thought there was any point putting either one in my car or wheter id be wasting my time. Cheers

personaly i wouldent use them myself although theres no harm in trying one out to see if it fits/ makes a diffrent noise! there universal so it would be hit or miss trying to get them to fit & may end up looking boged, & probaly wont increase performance. bargain price tho!
sell them on Ebay, thats what i would do with them

Plus side :

Makes noise (If you like that kinda thing)
May look slighty better than a heuowge airbox

Minus side :

Makes Noise (If you dont like that kinda thing lmao )
Utterly crap filteration
Sucks in hot air from engine bay (if used without proper cold air feed) which in turn can reduce performance
Vaux ecotec engines dont like them much (Pretty much sound like a tractor on idle)

Ebay em - make a few quid and buy a decent pannel filter will work far more
