errr, actually, you don't need to drop the 8v down an inch like the 16v. Depending on which conversion mount you get, it could have three holes in the front flange. These holes provide for both the 16v and 8v conversion. You can actually use a re-drilled 2ltr 8v engine mount to mount the 8v engine if your on a mega budget.
You still need to mount a 10mm spacer between the diff housing and the rear diff mount though to keep the diff in the correct place.
would be easier to just use the 16v mounts though rater than bodgeing it
