so is it a case of needing most of the bts of the 2.5 but using the head and block of the 3.0 ?
Pretty much. You`ll need a FWD sump, manifold/frontpipe, ecu loom as well as the inlet, they are all different on the 3.0 (due to RWD setup in Omega).
