cavalier trip computer

ihave fitted the gsi trip computer to my 1995 ls cavalier it works perfectly except for one thing it doesnt seem to illuminate with the lights on when the old normal one did?? i have pulled it back out but there doesnt seem to be a bulb anywhere on it.is it an led inside??or is it something to do with the wiring on the plug?do i have to run another wire from the old connector to the trip com yellow plug to get illumination?? any help appreciated

have a look on the side m8 they should be a little white cover pop that out and u will c the bulb
