remote locking: pulse timing question
If I were to install a remote system for my central locking, what do I need: a pulse generator?
(besides the keyfobs and the receiver ofcourse)

What is the pulse duration for the central locking to be activated/desactivated?

A half second to second pulse is usually sufficient.

If you are fitting an aftermarket remote control it should cope with this without any further modificatons.

I'm asking this as I've got a mate who installs sectional garage doors, they use 12V receivers and have very cool keyfobs....
