can a second hand alarm fob be re-programmed to be used on another car..does anybody know how much it costs to have one programmed?.thanks in advance.

Yes it should be reprogrammable. Some key fobs can be programmed easily, some like cliffords need to be taken to a dealer.

hi mate it is a standard alarm how can it be done?? alarm place or dealer

If it's standard alarm I reckon your best bet is to take it to a dealer. I've only had experience with aftermarket stuff. Do a search on the web first, if you haven't already, might find some instructions on how it can be done.
