should you be able to release all the pressure by unscrewing the header tank cap a little without any water escaping, straight after switching off the engine, after it's up to temperature ?
seems odd, I'm sure on other cars I've been able to let all the pressure out in a few seconds then fully unscrew the cap without water overflowing
there just seems to be a lot of pressure in the system, but I might just be paranoid...
