daewoo nexia tech details for curiosity

Just curious how far these differ form the mk2 astra. obviously they are pre j platform, so have no subframe. Is the floorpan identical, fuel tank etc? The front suspension is different, how exactly? Anyone got any pics of the two for comparison? are the rear beams, engine mounts etc identical? Do mk2 astra suspension bushes, springs etc fit, or are there fundamental differences?

    Cheers, Al.

i will try and scan some of the older pics, supentiomn is almost identical, its only track rod ends have different threads, everything else is the same, abs is different, power steering would be a straight swap but for some reason we kept the daewoo rack and made things more difficult, dash and heaters are a pain, seatbelts are all different, windscreen needs changing, rear light clusters/back pannel, front pannel,we just cut bits out looks good but to be 100%replace back and front pannel, the shell is more like m16v as gear selector runs through bulk head as opposed to under.thats about it.daweoo has a petrol flap, and theres a slightly bigger door gap once astra doors are fitted.i will try and scan some of the old pics and email you them
