VAG TDi Cruise Control

Not VX but i havnt managet to find a decent Audi/VAG forum

I'm taking delivery of a Audi A4 1.9TDi SE Avant shortly - it has loads of optional extras, but alas no cruise control. am i correct in thinking CC will be a plug-in module that i could retrofit? does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this??

cheers

damn another audi owner on mig

welcome brother vag lover

try audisport.net

you can only retrofit cruisecontrol with the DBW cars (drive by wire)
easy way to check is rev to 2k and apply the brake (revs should drop to idle)

your local audi dealer will quite happily sell you the correct stalk (make sure it is as theres variances in the model years)

watch out tho as the cc wiring most likely wont be in place on the car and you will need a custom wiring installation DONT use one of the golf/a3 ones as they dont work
thanks to mr Broon off audisport for this link

http://shop.kufatec.de/product_info....roducts_id/198

altho fontain will supply and fit for 350 bucks remember you need access to vag-com to enable the cc on the ecu
