    MFD MPG Sensor?!?!

    I asked this before but dunno where it went to..

    I have a mk3 astra GSI which is currently running a LET and F20box..
    my mfd is reading 99.9mpg permanently.. how can i get this sorted out? where is the sensor?
    does it work with the LET???

    im not sure if this will help but when i got my gsi the speedo was faulty so i got a new one fitted. Now this new one had was a different motronic mk or something so my mpg etc was reading 99.9mpg. Anyway the bloke to see is on here and he's called ian, cant remember owt else sorry! just do a search for mfd programming or something and im sure he'l help ya out!

    The speed sensor is on the back of the clocks - its output is via the blue/red cable that goes to the MFD.

    You'll also need to connect up the injector pulse signal from the ECU to the MFD but being a different engine you'll probably find it reads incorrectly.

    yes connect the red/white or brown/black wire (which even one you find) in the drivers footwell, between the ecu and car loom.
