electric mirror conversion question

how easy is it to put electric mirror into a mk3 astra that doesnt have electric mirrors as standard.

I did this on mine..

First of all, what trim level is your mk3?

Mine is an LS, and luckily i had the loom up to the point were it connects to the door module so all i had to do was take a trip to the scrapyard where i found an estate GLS, and took the driver side loom, passenger side loom, the operating switch and the heater relay. Got all that for a fiver lmao


Once evrything was installed i just bolted on my new pair of electric mirrors, job done.

Here is a pic of the drivers side door loom:



Note the extra connection for the mirror switch, the passenger side loom doesnt have this.
