hey there. im just wondering if the cavalier driveshafts and machined hub setup really works? I hear all these people talking about destroying bearings and breaking hubs an all. Can any body give me a bit of confidence an say that they use this setup and it works fine no problems with it??? And also does the corsa chassis needany modification to accept a 2.0 8v the same way as a nova needs the part under the suspension turrett battered in???
and also does the rear gear box mount work the same way as a nova? by that i mean is it the same as installing the 2.0 gear box to a nova as to the corsa?
In my experience, the modified hubs and corsa/nova bearings are a waste of time. i went through 2 sets of genuine bearings in my corsa in 3k miles, i then fitted a set of hockley group a oversize bearings and it has been perfect ever since.
