deadlocks?

now correct me if im wrong here but i thought when you dead lock your car if someone breaks a window and lifts up the latch thingy then the door wont open, anyways today i thought id do a quick test deadlocked the car left the rear window open stuck my hand in pulled up that latch and i could open the door as usual

that rear door didnt open tho, is it broken or something or is that how they are designed?

so did the door open or not?!

sometimes the micro switch falls off or something and stops the deadlocks working. Dunno about any 'how to' on fixing it though.

if it pulled up but didn't unlock then that's fine.

It just has a spring that lets you pull it up so you can't force it

well as far as i can remba none of the other doors unlocked when i did this and i just opened the door, i think the door has been opened before so i guess when i get the time ill check its all in order

btw couldnt open that back door tho, the thing popped up like it was loose and the door remained shut
