Johnny A MIGClub Member Join Date: Aug 2001 Location: Oxford Drives: Saloon of Doom MKII iTrader: (9) Posts: 9,299	Knackered Alternator? Its a recon job, 6 months use (about 8 months old). Does not charge the battery (no voltage change with car running). It used to go up to 13.5 volts ish, now it doesn't. I checked all the wiring and its all sound. The 'no charge' alternator light never comes on, even when the engine is not running. Is there something I have missed or is my alternator knackered?
