Coolant Swirl pot

well the recent day of heat has highlighted a weakness in my coolant system. First off is going to be an XE sized radiator to replace my turbo sized item (have FMIC)

was thinking whilst i was at it of fitting a swirl pot, but i'm not to sure where in the system on the LET it would go?

common sense would say on the cold side of the radiator but looking at connection sizes they look more suited to somewhere by the header tank!!

any ideas peeps?

Re: Coolant Swirl pot

a swirl pot if fitted need to go between the thermostat and rad and the bleed pipe from the top will go to the headder tank, my next door niegbough has on one his cosworth, all its for is to get rid of air in the coolant system, the XE/let has this as std, ith the small pipe that comes from the head by inlet runner 1 with goes to the headder tank
