Looking very good!

What did you do suspension wise? Is it running GTE shocks and springs?

Sorry to rake up an old thread, especially since the older pictures have sadly gone AWOL.

I'd love to see the work in progress pictures.

Looking for inspiration.

Particularly how the front and rear corner panels need to be changed to get the Mk2 stuff to fit, i.e. is the back end different to accommodate the boot lid, or do you just need the small quarter panels that sit below the rear lights?

I can provide an email address if that's easier and may be able to host any pictures of this if wanted.

Cheers, Ian.

As long as you can prove the engine predates August 1993 you should be OK. Is it a C20XE or the earlier 20XE which never had a cat anyway ?

Looks great mate! I know im not the only one on here thats been waiting to see more pics!

Did you keep the Nexia's rubber door seals? Do you think they decrease wind/road noise over the original ones?

Our's was a p reg green nexia aswell... ohh and it was clean rotton.. never put the gte bumpers on it though.. Was a funnier a Daewoooo frying impreza's, celica's, and stuff (ohh yeah and an ST220 mondeo cop car) than a GTE astra...

Best ever was when they asked what was in it, telling them it was a 1.5 'Superchipped'.. Wasnt too long to everyone around knew it was a redtop though

Ahh so you can!

Do you think it would stop wind/water etc getting in better?

My door loom bit seems to get splashed in water and the central locking sometimes goes nuts, would this stop it?

I presume they are just stuck on?
