Angry Right! Thats It!!!!!!!

not happy with the engine in my Nova, wan't Big & fast, Not tempremental.

It chooses when it wants to give me back a lot of power, And it chooses at the wrong time!

So now i am hanging up the 1.5TD and exchanging it for a.....

1.7TD bored out to a 1.9

Then maybe a supercharger, and if i feel paticularly stupid at the time......."NOS"

james, you might just be right on that one.......

the fact the 1.7 block fits onto the 1.5 head is slightly throwing.....

Oh balls to it, 2.2 DTI from a 95-02 Vectra should be in by about next year (once a few have been pranged )

So, 2.2Dti "vs" a Nova 2.0l 16v?

Place your bets now please

Got this from parkers

2.2 Dti
4 cylinder
2172 cc
125 bhp (soon have it running more )
129 top speed
0-60 n 9.5 seconds
43.5 MPG

Works out @ 178 BHP to the ton

Ok. So that is in about a ton of motor, Wonder how it will do in a 700KG nova

Probably rip it to bits :S

Nuff said

LMFAO

trust mate, but a 1.5TD

when you get in it (if its a good one) you will mess your pants.

But as with any car, over time you feel the need to go faster still

It's a bug most people have

And i got it good

there are 5 deisels in the VW golf line up

there is like a 70bhp non turbo one - u could beat that

100 bhp (turbo) - u could beat it

130 bhp - No way

150 bhp - Hell No

(180 bhp - U Bloody Stoopid or wat???) <- pending on further research

Models from 130 and above are classed as GT TDI
