    Prosciutto?

    Out of date by a week - but it's cured for ages right - is like cheese and still be ok?

    Fry it off in a little olive oil and garlic to kill any remaining bacteria and bung over some tagliatelle or similar.

    If it looks ok and smells ok it should be fine.
