just had a go...very nice, also added some tommy suace to the boiled rice before putting the fish fingers on and then cheese.

I cooked some proper Fish & chips as you would get from a chippy, crispy on the outside and well cooked but tender inside, golden texture, I used purpose made batter from Tesco and frozen cod fillets that I first thawed, and it came out really well, not too oily, and I used Marris Piper potatoes that makes chips taste as they should from a chippy, sadly I did not manage to take any pics,I was too eager to get stuck in.. Next time there shall be some pictures.

Both were fried in the same pan using sunflower veg oil.
